Large vase 57 cm
Limited editionLimited edition of 250
In 1925, the French artist and interior decorator René Crevel (1892-1971) successfully competed for the commission to decorate the ceramics pavilion of the International Exposition of Modern Industrial and Decorative Arts in Paris. For this occasion, he created decorative panels, wallpaper, and art objects. Among his designs was this large vase which combines landscape and figurative genres and was one of the first regional manifestations of the Art Deco Style. Bernardaud has decided to create an edition of the vase, in a limited number, as an accompaniment to the maison’s collection of rare “limited edition” pieces.
