Each vase emerges from an exacting artisanal process: a delicate layer of colored porcelain paste is applied with flawless uniformity over a base of refined white porcelain. A careful sanding of the engravings then reveals the porcelain’s original whiteness, producing a subtle play of contrast between color and white.
